The DiSC® Agile EQ™ Report is an assessment used to improve interactions between employees, managers, executives, leaders, and prospective candidates in a quick and meaningful manner. It provides insight into an individual’s behavioral style and details methods for enhancing responses beyond what may be within
one’s established comfort zone.

The official DiSC® Agile EQ™ Report is constructed beginning with the DiSC® model. The 4-letter DiSC® represents four behaviors: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C). It then explains the eight Agile EQ™ mindsets: Dynamic, Outgoing, Empathizing, Receptive, Composed, Objective, Resolute, and Self-Assured. Understanding all the Agile EQ™ mindsets can provide an individual with the tools for realizing when to use their preferred method of interaction, and when to use a method that may require a learned behavior.

Below is a brief explanation of the eight Agile EQ™ mindsets:

  • Dynamic: Individuals who prefer this mindset generally do so due to their ability to persuade others. They often have a keen awareness of their personal wants and needs and are not afraid to pitch their dreams to others. They are influential leaders who prefer to be in control, often commanding the attention of a room. They are achievers, who are known to be adventurous and passionate.
  • Outgoing: This mindset includes people who report being social, optimistic, and understanding. They often are energetic, expressive, and commonly prefer to build relationships based on trust or open communication. These individuals tend to provide a team with comradery by ensuring that everyone feels welcome and included.
  • Empathizing: Individuals who report as having an Empathizing mindset often are known for supporting others and providing an uplifting approach to collaborative situations. These people generally know when others are emotionally distraught and have been known to prioritize psychological needs first. They are generally understanding individuals who take pride in maintaining relationships.
  • Receptive: The people in this mindset are known to be open-minded individuals who value compromise and stability. They generally will be the type of individuals who are known for listening to and supporting others, ensuring a harmonious environment where everyone feels included and heard. These people often want to feel accepted by others and may be willing to put others’ needs ahead of their own.
  • Composed: Individuals who assess with this mindset are known to keep the peace. They generally are cool-headed people who think before they act and can often provide conflict management strategies. Composed mindset individuals are known to assist others who may tend to make too quick, irrational decisions.
  • Objective: This mindset includes individuals who prefer to focus on logic instead of emotion. They generally are skilled at gathering facts and are known to disregard personal bias. These individuals tend to be efficient and prefer sequential patterns, often focusing on practicality and accuracy.
  • Resolute: People who report as having a Resolute mindset are known to be confident and persistent. They generally prefer to stick to established timelines and may be known as someone who stands their ground. If there is an organizational issue, Resolute personalities are often the people who bring them to the table for discussion.
  • Self-Assured: These individuals have been known for their conviction for action. They are known for being leaders and often can inspire others to succeed. They may be known for suggesting alternative methods for processes and procedures that can inspire productivity and generally are confident in their opinions.

The DiSC® Agile EQ™ Report illustrates the mindset that comes most naturally to an individual, as well as provides a description of other mindsets that may be opportune in specific situations. The report also explains the strengths and opportunities for areas of improvement in an individual’s reported mindset, as well as an explanation of how this behavioral style may affect others. It provides tips on how to take action for stretching beyond an individual’s innate mindset and step out of established comfort zones. Lastly, it provides an interactive form with actionable questions for the participant to consider beyond their report.

The DiSC® Agile EQ™ Report provides a personalized DiSC® overview and expands to include the participant’s Agility Mindset. The DiSC® is a graphical representation of an individual’s DiSC® scores within the four DiSC® traits. One can also score borderline between two DiSC® traits, whereas they are assigned a two-letter symbol such as Di (Dominant/Influence). The added Agile EQ™ portion is a bell curve representing the innate comfort level of how an individual responds to social interactions without having to put forward effort. The combination of these scores can provide an individual with an understanding of their personality behaviors in order for them to make modifications for the enhancement of social interactions. These modifications have been known to improve individual adaptability, increase beneficial communication, and build positive work cultures.
